Product Description
Optoma’s TX542-3D is designed to meet the demanding requirements of school districts and businesses. Bright, high contrast images provide easy-to-read text, and the built-in closed captioning decoder displays text from videos that have closed captioning embedded in the signal. Wired networking allows remote management and control of the projector, and a built-in 10-watt speaker system outputs volume required for larger audiences.

Very pleased

Purchased this projector through work for public presentations. It works like a champ! Very easy to connect to a laptop, nice bright image, and VERY quick cool-down time (about 10 secs) to turn it off. Very happy with it.

Could not be happier!

I have owned multiple projectors in the past (Viewsonic, Epson, benQ) used specifically for a home theater. This Optoma Projector blows all the competition out of the water. The projector itself is well manufactured, the projected display is extremely crisp, the colors are vivid, and the sharpness is unsurpassed. My friends are all amazed when they come over and we play games or watch a movie on the projector-- even the second and third time! Beyond the product being fantastic- the support is great as well. One small hiccup with the projector and Optoma sent a new projector with no hassle.

great projector

This is my second projector and I love the quality of the image and the features. I did not want to spend over $500 on a projector and was a little concerned that the image was not going to be as good as one of the higher priced projectors. I am happy to say that this model exceeded my expectations. I use it mainly for watching HDTV, movies, and XBOX 360. My kids absolutely love watching movies on it, it's like we are at the theater in the comfort of our own home. I would definitely order another Optoma when it's time to upgrade.
