Pros: They really packed a lot into a little package. Comes with a battery that really lasts, I've used it for over two hours and still has charge left over. Built in speaker is good enough if you're sitting close to the projector. It has four different video inputs, headphone output, microsd slot, media player, it's quite a capable little toy. Enough light to be fine in a dark room. Emits no mechanical sound (unless you put your ear to it). Respectable contrast ratio (1000:1) according to TI's website. It's a marked improvement from the 350:1 projector I've been using for my home theater for years.Cons: At the farthest distance, the optics aren't good enough to keep the whole picture in perfect focus, you can chose either the left side or right side to be in focus, although if you're sitting far enough back you don't really notice, it's only when you walk up to the screen and see the individual pixels that you notice one side is blurry. Wish there was color correction built into the software, mine emits too much red. That is not a problem if your video source has color correction, but if it doesn't (my apple tv) you're just gonna have to deal. Converting media to play off the SD card was annoying before I got the settings right, there is nothing in the manual. It likes MPEG-4, with a mp4 file suffix (not m4v) an H264 video encoding, AAC audio and a resolution 854 x 480 or lower. Conclusion: If you want something to enjoy standard def movies or a presentation in a dark room this is for you. If you want something that can be seen in daylight or HD, or bigger than 60" screen keep looking.

I bought this projector for both personal and business use and couldn't be happier. A colleague of mine recommended it after replacing his old travel projector with this one. The difference in image quality is very noticeable. The key seems to be the # of lumens. This projector's output is something around 20 lumens, the nearest competitor that I've found priced similarly was 12. Obviously, its not a bright as a full size projector, but for my purposes - using it for Power Point presentations and the occasional movie - its perfect!

I'm an electronics maniac, and this completes the collection of must have items. This projector has an amazing output for video via the HDMI cable. I use it as a movie projector and monitor extension from my computer. I haven't found anything negative that effects operation yet. You must order the Flip Video HDMI cables though, seperately. I can not get over how small this projector is and have such an awesome projection capability. I'm currently using it in a low light environment and have no issues projecting video, pictures, internet, etc. The unit does get extremely hot after a half hour though, and after six hours of watching movies on it, the only defect I saw was a slight blurriness on the outsides of the image when I displayed an internet page. Other than that, it is excellent for watching video. The mini-scandisk option is great as well. You can load videos or pictures onto the disk and watch them independently from an external source. The video will start off slow the first minute, then the RAM inside the projector catches up and caches the video, so there's no lag. I haven't used the scandisk option to watch a lenghty movie, but worked really well when I tried it. As for the IO input, I haven't found a cable available for that. There are cables on Amazon, such as the mini HDMI to HDMI (which I use), and a VGA to mini-HDMI available at a decent price. Again, this projector is at a premium price for what you can get out of it. I highly recommend it.
