By W. G. Wilder
Optoma EW330 is light, highly portable and carries an attractive finish. It projects a bright image with good colors, comes with carrying case. It has hdmi connector in addition to VGA, USB, S-video. This unit does not have speakers. When using hdmi cable, the cable carries the video and audio signal, but since there are no speakers, you lose the audio output from source. Also there is no automatic focus on unit or on remote, you must manually rotate lens housing which would be inconvenient if unit were mounted on ceiling or otherwise inaccessible. This projector seems overpriced for its sparse feature set.

By James P. Bergeron
Very light. Great for traveling as it fits inside a roller board suitcase AND 9x out of 10 I don't have to remove it from my luggage for security. Display is bright, clear image. No complaints.

By Tom McCalmont
This projector mostly delivers as advertised. Some things I didn't like and wish were better: 1) The zoom is almost non-functional. The range of screen sizes is quite small, and you can't zoom it big enough to project clearly in a smaller conference room. 2) Wish it had a pushbutton foot adjustment -- the screw-in that it has has a limited range of motion so you still have to put a book under it to get it high enough to hit the screen in the right place.Other than those two things, it's pretty good otherwise. Bright enough, very small and compact, quiet fan, easy to set up.
