Decent

I bought this projector with the understanding that it has a native resolution of 1280x800, 720p. I prefer 1080p but I chose this projector to determine if LED will make enough of a difference where 1080p will not matter. The colors from the LED are comparable to DLP projectors. The only difference I noticed were how washed out the colors were when exposed to daylight. 500 lumens was not adequate enough during this environment. Although I was content with the colors, it was not enough to overlook the 720p resolution projected onto my 80" screen. Granted clarity might be better in smaller screen sizes but If you are accustom to 1080p monitors or televisions, then you will most likely notice the reduced picture quality of 720p. Watching videos however was tolerable and marginally passable. Text was almost unreadable to the extent that it was equivalent to one not wearing any contacts or eyeglasses. This brings up the focus dial equipped with this projector. I had difficulty focusing the picture due to lack of sensitivity of the dial. I wanted to grease the darn thing for smoother controlling. The projector was decently quiet with some audible noise. Perhaps the only major plus of this projector was the portable and compact size. It was as small as a hardback novel, smaller than most even. It could also be connected to a tripod via the threaded screw hole on the underside of the unit. Most appreciated when portability and flexible positioning is a deciding point for purchase. Overall, the projector was decent, but I returned it as LED could not make up for the reduced picture and text clarity.
